Bergeron Land Development has been awarded the Award of Excellence by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA). The 2017 Landscape Award in the category of New Installation – Public/Institutional was awarded in recognition for Port Everglades Southport Turning Notch Project. Bergeron shares the honor with project team members Miller Legg, Earth Balance, The Chappell Group, Terramar Environmental Services, and DeRose Design Consultants.

The project also included a deep channel to allow for manatee access.

As the nation’s largest and oldest state nursery and landscape association, FNGLA represents Florida’s environmental horticulture industry which generated $21.08 billion total output sales in 2015 and directly employed 232,000 people.
